Elmendorf Tearing Tester. To determine the tearing strength of fabric, paper, etc. Range from 8000 to 64000 Millinewtons with suitable pendulums, including 3 pendulums.
Elmendorf Tearing Tester is specially designed for the tearing strength of fabric, paper, leather, film, non-woven materials with well-regulated tearing direction, and other thin materials. Elmendorf tester does not apply to sparse fabric or stretch materials which tearing direction might be shift when testing. |

Test Procedure
Elmendorf tearing tester using stable mechanical clamps, specimen is fixed in the clamp and use the equipped blade to cut a crack, specimen is torn along the crack direction by releasing the moveable clamp, convert the work £¦#118alue of tearing in a certain length to ballistic tearing strength.
